An orange Arapachana Manjushri, the bodhisattva of wisdom, is seated at the center in vajra posture. His right hand raises aloft the flaming sword that severs ignorance, while his left holds the stem of an utpala lotus that blossoms at his ear to bear the Prajnaparamita book. He has the appearance of a sixteen-year-old youth, adorned with jewel ornaments and silks before a moon disc.
At the upper left is Shakyamuni Buddha and at the upper right Maitreya in buddha form, with two offering goddesses in the sky between them. To the viewer's left sits the peaceful blue Vajrapani and to the right Avalokiteshvara in a relaxed posture; below them are a blue Manjushri and a white Sarasvati holding a vina.
Along the bottom register are the protectors — red Hayagriva, green Vajravidarana, wrathful Bhurkumkuta, Panjarnata Mahakala, and Shri Devi Dudsolma riding a donkey.
