Humsvaranadini Tara, Proclaiming the Sound of HUM [5/21]

༄༅། །ཧཱུྃ་སྒྲ་སྒྲོག་པའི་སྒྲོལ་མ་།།
ཕྱག་འཚལ་ཏུཏྟཱ་ར་ཧཱུྃ་ཡི་གེས།
།འདོད་དང་ཕྱོགས་དང་ནམ་མཁའ་གང་མ། །
འཇིག་རྟེན་བདུན་པོ་ཞབས་ཀྱིས་མནན་ཏེ།
།ལུས་པ་མེད་པར་འགུགས་པར་ནུས་མ། །

Homage to Tara of the syllables TUTTARE HUM,
whose sound is perfect and without end,
whose loving kindness reaches every quarter;
the seven realms beneath her lotus feet,
her compassion gathering
and setting all beings at peace.

Nghi quỹ tu trì Lục Độ Phật Mẫu, Drukpa lineage

Tara “who proclaims the sound of the seed-syllable HUM”. She appears golden in colour, with one face, two eyes and two arms. Adorned with divine silk garments and jewel ornaments, she sits in the sattva-paryanka posture upon a golden sun disc and a pink lotus.

Her right hand forms the gesture of fearlessness (abhaya mudra) near her right knee, sheltering beings and dispelling their fear. Her left hand rests before her breast in the gesture of giving refuge, thumb and forefinger holding the stem of a golden lotus in full bloom beside her left ear. Above her crown appears the red buddha Amitabha. She has the power to subjugate obstruction and to free beings from every fear.
